單詞:
1. 關(guān)于fewer, less 和more (量詞)
幾乎沒有 few 只修飾可數(shù)名詞 some a few 只修飾可數(shù)名詞
表否定 little 只修飾不可數(shù)名詞 一些 a little=a bit of 只修飾不可數(shù)名詞

2. 關(guān)于“也許”,perhaps=maybe, may be
maybe adv. 常用于句首;may be意為“也許是”,是一個(gè)情態(tài)動(dòng)詞“may + 動(dòng)詞原形”的結(jié)構(gòu),may be 只是一個(gè)結(jié)構(gòu)巧合。
e.g. Maybe he is a student.= He may be a student.
Maybe he knows about this.= He may know about this.
3. 關(guān)于alone和lonely:
lonely只作adj.,用于名詞前或系動(dòng)詞后,意為:“(主觀上)孤獨(dú)的,偏僻的”。
alone 可作adj. 只用于系動(dòng)詞后,意為“(無感情色彩,只強(qiáng)調(diào)一個(gè)人的狀態(tài))單獨(dú)的”。
也可作adv., 與行為動(dòng)語搭配使用,意為“單獨(dú)地”。
e.g. The old man lived in a lonely house alone, but he never feels lonely.
4. 關(guān)于hundred等詞的用法,<注意hundred的形式>:
a hundred students(一百個(gè)學(xué)生), two hundred students(兩百個(gè)學(xué)生);
two hundred of the students(這些學(xué)生中的兩百個(gè)); hundreds of students(成百上千的學(xué)生)
5. 關(guān)于besides:
besides 除了…之外,相當(dāng)于在原有的基礎(chǔ)上增加;e.g. Besides milk, we need vegetables.
except 除了…之外,相當(dāng)于在范圍內(nèi)將其排除;e.g. We all went to the park yesterday, except him.
beside 在…旁邊;He is standing beside me.
6. 關(guān)于such和so:
Such作形容詞,意思是“如此的”“這樣的”,修飾各種名詞。so修飾形容詞。
Ø Such常和as搭配,表示一種類別。如We enjoy such a voice as hers.我們喜歡象她那樣的嗓子。
Ø Such常和表示結(jié)果的that從句搭配,表示“如此….以至于…”如
It was such a hot day that we all had to stay at home.
Ø Such…that…和so…that…“如此…以至”,都可用來引出一個(gè)結(jié)果狀語從句。由于such是形容詞,所以that從句前有一個(gè)受such修飾的名詞;而so 是副詞,用以修飾形容詞或副詞,因此that從句前一般不出現(xiàn)名詞。如
They are such kind-hearted teachers that people in the village all respect them.
The exam was so difficult that many students failed to pass it.
a) 如果名詞是可數(shù)名詞的單數(shù)形式,such和so的位置不同:
such+ a/an+形容詞+單數(shù)名詞 so+形容詞+a/an+單數(shù)名詞
b) 如果名詞是不可數(shù)名詞或名詞復(fù)數(shù),只可用such,不能用so.
such+形容詞+不可數(shù)名詞或復(fù)數(shù)名詞
c) 如果被修飾的不可數(shù)名詞被much, little, 或復(fù)數(shù)名詞被many, few等表示量的形容詞修飾時(shí),用so,不用such.
d) 當(dāng)little表示“年紀(jì)小的”時(shí),可用such+little+名詞

8. 常見的系動(dòng)詞(其后接adj.):
be(am, is, are, are, was, were, been)、keep、stay(表狀態(tài)); became、 turn、get(表變化達(dá)程);
