enough的用法
enough adj,足夠的,修飾可數(shù)名詞或不可數(shù)名詞,可以放在名詞前面,也可以放在名詞后面;adv,足夠地,修飾形容詞、副詞、動(dòng)詞,并放在其后。
Enough 可當(dāng)限定詞、代名詞和副詞用,意為「足夠(的/地)」,其主要句型為enough for somebody/something、enough to do something 及enough for somebody/something to do something。
Enough 當(dāng)限定詞時(shí)后接復(fù)數(shù)可數(shù)名詞或不可數(shù)名詞。例如:
The conference room has enough seats for everyone. (會(huì)議室有足夠的座位給每個(gè)人坐)
Enough 當(dāng)代名詞意為「足夠;太多」,其后經(jīng)常接「of + 受格代名詞或特指的名詞」(所謂特指的名詞,就是名詞的前面加上the, that, this, these, those或所有格,如my, John's 等等)。例如:
